Like the work of British architect John Pawson since I discovered images of the monastery he has done in Novy Dvur (Czech Republic) on the model of the abbey Thoronet.
In fact, Pawson part himself in a tradition that goes through Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Cistercian ideal or the austerity of Shaker: thus, it achieves a place of prayer as was the case in Bohemia, a boutique in New York for Calvin Klein, a family house in the woods or a private residence by the sea, we see in him the same rejection of unnecessary adornment, the same quest for a balance between beauty and function.
Materials and noble lines pure, continuity and openness, arouse much calm and harmony conducive to meditation.
These days, I would stay happy in one of these highly spiritual shelters designed by John Pawson!
